D’Andre Swift rushed 16 times for 130 yards in the Eagles’ Week 3 win over the Bucs.

Swift was shut out of the running back rotation in Week 1, seeing just two touches in his Philly debut. Then, with Kenneth Gainwell out of the lineup because of an injury, Swift went for 175 yards on 28 carries in Week 2. The Eagles were expected to ride the hot hand versus the Bucs and that’s exactly what they did. Swift out-carried Gainwell 16-8 until the final drive of the game. Gainwell was used on six low-value attempts to help Philly ice the game. Swift’s big-play abilities have been on full display while running behind one of the best offensive lines in the league. Now operating as the Eagles’ lead back, he will project for RB2 fantasy numbers in Week 4 against the Commanders.

Bucs CB Jamel Dean (shoulder) is questionable to return in Week 3 against the Eagles.

Dean suffered the shoulder injury in the first half. He briefly left but eventually returned in an attempt to play through the injury. He left for the second time after halftime and doesn’t look likely to return.

Eagles S Justin Evans (neck) is questionable to return in Week 3 against the Bucs.

The Eagles entered Week 3 missing multiple members of their secondary and this isn’t going to make things any easier for them. Most notable among the injuries is Avonte Madox landing on the injured reserve ahead of this game. Evans has started both of Philly’s games this year and has 10 total tackles.

Burrow was notably absent from the team’s inactives list for their Week 3 meeting with the Rams. He’ll give it a go at less than 100 percent while dealing with an aggravated calf injury. Inactive for the Bengals are WR Trenton Irwin, RB Chris Evans, CB DJ Ivey, C Trey Hill, OT Jackson Carman, TE Irv Smith, and DT Jay Tufele. Expect tight end Drew Smaple to step into a more prominent role in the offense with Smith out.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Bengals QB Joe Burrow is expected to start on Monday Night Football against the Rams.

We are still awaiting official word from the team, who are expected to release their Week 3 inactives in the next 30 minutes, but it certainly sounds like Burrow will be under center for the Bengals despite being at less than 100 percent health. Burrow aggravated a calf injury sustained in camp last week and was reportedly a true game-time decision for the Bengals in Week 3. The 0-2 start might be playing a factor in the decision-making process here, so let’s hope Burrow is able to make it through the game unscathed.

Davis will now miss his second-straight game of the season with a toe injury despite logging limited practices throughout the week. Davis could be available for Week 4 against the Saints, but the Buccaneers will be thin at defensive back against a loaded Eagles receiving corps.

Boston Scott is dealing with a concussion, leaving the Eagles to roll with with D’Andre Swift, Kenneth Gainwell, and Rashaad Penny for this one. It was reported on Sunday that the Eagles plan to “ride the hot hand” at running back, meaning any of the three active backs could emerge as the lead ball carrier. Still, we’d expect the majority of touches to be split between Swift and Gainwell.
