NATIONALS TEAM NEWS CENTER
Ruiz drove in two runs with a ground rule double as part of a four-run first inning against Dylan Dodd. He added an RBI single one inning later to finish his season on a high note. The 25-year-old hit just seven home runs in 112 games as a rookie last season, but he picked things up on the power front this season with 18 homers and 67 RBI.
