METS TEAM NEWS CENTER
José Butto yielded two runs in six innings in a loss to the Phillies on Sunday.
Butto gave up five hits (including a solo shot to Alec Bohm) while walking two and striking out four. He’s held his own down the stretch by allowing two runs or fewer in four of his five starts. The Mets figure to be plenty active in terms of filling rotation spots this winter, but Butto makes for fine depth at the very least.
