Freeman belted his solo homer off of Tigers’ left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez in the fifth inning, pulling the Guardians to within a run at 3-2. That would be the extent of their offense. Freeman finished the afternoon 1-for-3. The 24-year-old infielder wraps up the season hitting .242/.295/.366 with four long balls, 18 RBI and five stolen bases in 168 plate appearances at the big league level.
