Reed played through a chest injury last week. He caught 4-of-8 targets while adding two carries, so the chest injury didn’t seem to bother the rookie wideout. This missed practice is likely just maintenance as the Packers prepare to take on the Chiefs this week. For now, we will continue to treat Reed as if he is playing and rank him as a WR4.

AJ Dillon did not practice Wednesday.

Dillon played through a groin issue last week. He didn’t appear limited by the injury in Week 12, logging 14 carries plus another three catches. This missed practice may just be maintenance as Dillon deals with the groin issue, though his status throughout the week will be worth monitoring. If he can’t go and Aaron Jones is out again. Patrick Taylor would seemingly draw the start.

Aaron Jones (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Jones suffered an MCL sprain in Week 11 and missed Week 12 because of the issue. He hasn’t practiced since. A missed practice to start the week points toward another absence for the veteran back on Sunday. If he is ruled out, AJ Dillon will dominate the work for the Green Bay backfield once again.

Tucker Kraft caught 2-of-2 targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 12 win over the Lions.

Starting in Luke Musgrave’s (kidney) absence, rookie Kraft scored the first touchdown of his career. It was a nine-yarder where he successfully leaked out on a play fake. Kraft paid off for TE2 desperados on Turkey Day, but we will have trouble recommending him as a streamer for Week 13 against the Chiefs.

Romeo Doubs caught 3-of-4 targets for 37 yards in the Packers’Thanksgiving Day win over the Lions.

Doubs’ missed connection was a drop. He was one of the Pack’s only young skill players to not have a positive day in the Motor City. With Jayden Reed continuing to impress and Christian Watson finally awakening from his slump. Doubs is fading from WR4 relevance heading into Week 13 vs. the Chiefs’ tough defense.

Jayden Reed caught 4-of-8 targets for 34 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 12 win over the Lions.

Reed added two carries for 16 yards. His fifth score of the season was a 10-yarder to cap off the Pack’s opening drive. Reed got free on a slant in the end zone. Reed continues to look impressive but isn’t stacking much volume for fantasy purposes. His scoring prowess does make him WR4 live, especially for weeks like Week 13 where six teams will be on bye. The Pack will be facing Kansas City’s tough defense.

A. Dillon - RB

AJ Dillon rushed 14 times for 43 yards in the Packers’ Thanksgiving win over the Lions, adding three receptions for 38 yards.

It was a sadly useless fantasy outing for Dillon as he filled in for an injured Aaron Jones (knee). Dillon remained inefficient between the tackles but did contribute a critical 22-yard catch. He was also involved on a bizarre fourth down mishap where the running back and Jordan Love simply ran into each other. Dillon shed only a few touches to backup Patrick Taylor, but he is simply incapable of producing big fantasy days. Jones is questionable for Week 13 against the Chiefs with 10 more days to heal up. Dillon will be a low-upside FLEX if Jones sits again.

C. Watson - WR

Christian Watson caught 5-of-7 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ Week 12 win over the Lions.

Watson’s 94 yards were a new season high, while the touchdown was his second in as many weeks. An excellent outing, though one that could have been even bigger in the box score. Watson broke loose for what should have been a 75-yard touchdown on the very first play from scrimmage, but Jordan Love underthrew him. The duo had to settle for a 53-yard completion. For the score the pair did convert, Watson beat Jerry Jacobs 1-on-1 and housed a 16-yarder. With Love starting to play better and the Packers suddenly no longer in unfavorable game script all the time, Watson is looking better and producing stronger statlines. The Chiefs will be a stiff Week 13 test after back-to-back cupcake matchups in the Chargers and Lions.

Jordan Love completed 22-of-32 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns in the Packers’ 29-22, Week 12 win over the Lions, adding three carries for 39 yards.

Continuing his recent hot play, Love took advantage of a struggling Lions defense for maybe the best overall start of his career. The Packers’ very first snap was an under-thrown Love deep ball to Christian Watson that went in the books as a 53-yard completion but could have been a 75-yard touchdown with more air underneath it. Love nevertheless rallied to find Jayden Reed four plays later for a 10-yard score. He would later find Tucker Kraft for a nine-yarder and Watson for a 16-yarder, threading all sorts of needles in between. That included an absurd cross-body, cross-field completion in the fourth quarter. Playing with renewed confidence and improved accuracy the past few weeks, Love is changing his first-year starting narrative in real time. He does have a tough Week 13 matchup in the Chiefs. It will be difficult to stream him in that one, though six teams are on bye that Sunday.

Jaire Alexander (shoulder) is inactive for Week 12 against the Lions.

Listed as questionable, Alexander will miss the Packers’ Thanksgiving matchup against Jared Goff and the Lions. It’s a boon for Goff and his pass catchers after a rough outing for the passing offense in Week 11. The Lions could pour on the points against an injury-marred Packers defense.

Dillon will function as the de facto No. 1 back with Aaron Jones (knee) sidelined. He’s a volume-based RB2 option. Packers declared WR Dontayvion Wicks, S Rudy Ford, CB Jaire Alexander, RB Aaron Jones, LB De’Vondre Campbell, T Caleb Jones, and TE Josiah Deguara inactive for the Thanksgiving game. Wicks had worked into the Green Bay wideout rotation of late, with at least four targets in four straight games. His absence could open up targets for Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and Jayden Reed. Deguara being out means Tucker Kraft will work as an every-down tight end in place of Luke Musgrave (kidney, IR). Kraft is a viable deep league streamer against Detroit.

Dillon was listed as questionable by the Packers due to a groin injury. He logged limited practices this week, and with Aaron Jones out, Dillon is slated to be the lead back. He has been an average runner at best this season, making him an RB3 against the Lions. Patrick Taylor and James Robinson will back Dillon up.

Chris Olave (concussion) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

Olave left Week 12 with a concussion and did not return. Saints coach Dennis Allen told reporters earlier today Olave is now in the league’s concussion protocol. A limited practice to open the week suggests he is already making progress. Though it’s been rare for players to suit up a week after suffering a concussion, a handful of them have done so. Olave could be the next. He would rank as a WR1 versus the Panthers’ struggling defense.

Chargers WR Quentin Johnston (ribs) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.

The rookie injured his ribs in the Chargers’ Week 12 loss to the Ravens but, after the game, head coach Brandon Staley mentioned that the decision for Johnston to not re-enter was his, not the medical staffs. As a result, even if Johnston is back to full practice, there’s no guarantee that he returns the same snap share he saw before Week 12. The first-round pick out of TCU has disappointed this season and should be off the radar in redraft leagues.

Chase Claypool (knee) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

Calypool underwent a minor knee procedure ahead of Week 11. He has now missed two games because of the surgery but looks to be nearing a return. The Dolphins haven’t had a consistent WR3 at any point this year, and that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. Claypool is not on the fantasy radar, healthy or not.

Broncos designated WR Brandon Johnson (hamstring) to return from IR.

Johnson was placed on the IR after Week 8 and now that his four weeks have passes, he’s eligible to begin practicing. This will open up his 21-day window to be activated off the IR and put on the 53-man roster. The second-year pro had eight catches for 122 yards and three touchdowns in seven games prior to getting hurt.

De’Von Achane (knee) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

Achane re-aggravated the knee injury that landed him on injured reserve earlier this year in his Week 11 return. He was held out of Miami’s Week 12 game, but head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters he didn’t suffer any further setbacks and his absence was primarily out of an abundance of caution. That gives him a shot at returning this week, though we won’t know until Friday at the earliest. If active, Achane would rank as a high-variance RB2 versus Washington.

The rookie is now the third starting offensive lineman that the Panthers have placed on the IR this season. That potentially leaves 2022 sixth-round pick Cade Mays as the starting left guard for Bryce Young against the Bucs on Sunday.

Mostert has been dealing with the pair of injuries for a few weeks and they have yet to cost him any playing time. He has 43 touches in his past two games, making it clear that Mike McDaniel hasn’t been concerned about Mostert’s workload affecting his health. A missed practice for the oft-injured running back is likely maintenance, though fantasy managers should check back in before Sunday to be sure. If he is cleared from the injury report, Mostert will push for RB1 numbers against the Commanders.

Just two days after suggesting the Pickett could be limited in practice with an ankle injury, the Steelers listed their quarterback as a full participant in Wednesday’s practice. He should have little limitations in his performance this weekend against the Cardinals.
