Elijah Moore caught 4-of-12 targets for 83 yards in the Browns’ Week 13 loss to the Rams.

Moore has some familiarity with new Browns’ quarterback from their time together with the Jets last season, but that didn’t seem to matter early with Brown having just one catch for nine yards before Amari Cooper left the game with a concussion in the second quarter. After that point, Moore became Flacco’s key target, seeing nine targets without Cooper on the field. Moore’s biggest catch was a 42-yarder in the second quarter where he was falling backwards but was able to get one butt cheek in bounds before his legs hit. He and Flacco weren’t able to consistently connect on their throws, but Flacco should get more comfortable with another week of practice under his belt, which could mean better days ahead for Moore, especially if Cooper were to miss any time. However, all of that could be for naught if the Browns decide to go back to Dorian Thompson-Robinson at quarterback.

Moore was peppered over the short areas of the field but struggled through inconsistent quarterback play in the loss. He continues to flirt with fantasy relevancy but can safely be kept on the bench with the uncertainties under center for the Browns.

His receiving total led the Browns and marked the high-water mark of his disappointing 2023 season. Moore and David Njoku were peppered with short-area targets by rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson in his second NFL start.

Deshaun Watson rolled to his left in the fourth quarter to find Moore for a 10-yard touchdown while quickly running out of real estate. The score marked Moore’s first of the 2023 campaign and capped a relatively strong outing for the Browns’ No. 2 receiver. Far from a target hog, Moore has managed just 14 targets in his last three games after averaging 8.3 targets in his first three weeks. He’s on the fantasy radar as a WR4 in Week 11 against the Steelers and is best to be treated as a deep league play.

Moore played third fiddle to Amari Cooper and David Njoku in this one as quarterback P.J. Walker peppered his top two targets with 19 of his 31 pass attempts. Moore remains a shaky fantasy bet, likely needing a touchdown to return utility.

More of the same from Moore, which is not enough. Moore continues to provide a 4/40 floor, but it has yet to find a ceiling. He seems unduly reliant on schemed looks. He remains an uninspiring WR4 heading into a Week 8 matchup with the Seahawks.

Moore trailed only Amari Cooper in Browns targets on the day, with most of his usage coming at or behind the line of scrimmage. Moore’s complete lack of downfield opportunities make him a fringe PPR option even in deeper formats. Outside of a nine-catch performance in Week 3, Moore has been a massive disappointment for fantasy purposes.

Week 4 was Moore’s first outing with fewer than seven targets. The Browns had been trying to get Moore the ball in a number of ways through three weeks but abandoned that plan in Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s first start. Moore is averaging a dismal 5.1 yards per target this season and has yet to show the big-play potential that landed him a second chance in Cleveland. He will rank as a WR5 when the Browns return from their bye week to face San Francisco in Week 6.

Moore was targeted consistently and actually managed a non-terrible 22.5 percent team target market share in Week 2, but quarterback Deshaun Watson’s continued struggled sapped any upside Moore could have on the volume. Moore and the Browns will look to regroup in a much softer matchup with the Titans.

Elijah Moore caught 3-of-7 targets for 43 yards in the Browns’ Week 1 win over the Bengals, adding two carries for 19 yards.

Moore tied Amari Cooper for a team-high in targets while also being schemed a pair of rush attempts. He flashed his big-play ability on a carry out of shotgun that saw him reverse the entire field to turn a potential loss of yards into a 19-yard game. The Browns’ offense still looked rusty in this game, but Moore was heavily involved in the game plan. If Deshaun Watson can get in rhythm and start putting up bigger passing numbers, Moore could be in line for a breakout season. He will get plenty of WR3 buzz heading into his Week 2 matchup with the Steelers.

Grayson Allen provided a solid boost on Tuesday with 21 points (6-of-14 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers against the Lakers.

Allen has been a solid option for the Suns this season, especially early on with Bradley Beal and Devin Booker both missing time with injuries. With Beal still out, Allen has been in the starting unit, and when he’s hitting shots, he has the ability to provide value. That was the case in this game. Unfortunately, instead of playing on a 2-game day on Thursday, their next game will be on Friday against the Kings, with 12 other games going on. Allen has been just outside the top-100 in 9-cat value this season, so he is still worth a roster spot in standard leagues.

Devin Booker struggled on Tuesday but still contributed 21 points (6-of-16 FGs), 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, one triple and seven turnovers against the Lakers.

Book didn’t have a dominant night scoring the ball, but he was still able to contribute solid value across the board. He posted gaudy numbers in every category, though that included turnovers. He had seven of Phoenix’s 22 turnovers, 10 of which came in the first quarter. They cleaned up their act after that, but Booker’s high turnover count and poor shooting percentage were less than ideal for fantasy managers that have him rostered. Book is still an elite player and one of the best in fantasy hoops. He has also been a better rebounder over his last two games, finishing with double figure boards for the first two times this season.

Kevin Durant led the Suns with 31 points (12-of-17 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists, one block, four triples and five turnovers in a 106-103 loss to the Lakers on Tuesday in the In-Season Tournament.

Durant had a chance to tie the game after Anthony Davis missed a free throw with about six seconds left, but he ended up airballing a tough shot. However, he still had a really good game. He only missed five total shots, and he shot over 70% from the field for the second straight game after two straight shooting below 40%. Durant has been one of the ten best players in fantasy basketball, and more importantly, he has been healthy so far this season. He hasn’t had a healthy season since he left Golden State, but as long as he’s still on the floor, he’ll be one of the best players in fantasy basketball.

Austin Reaves provided a boost off the bench with 20 points (7-of-16 FGs), six rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers against the Suns on Tuesday.

Outside of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Reaves was the only Laker that was able to contribute much statistically in this game. When it came to the end of the game, and the Lakers held a one-point lead, they gave the ball to Reaves. He hit a dagger 3-pointer to extend their lead to four with 15 seconds remaining. Many managers may have seen the move to the bench as a demotion, but that can’t be further from the truth. It has worked well for the Lakers, even if it hasn’t helped his fantasy production. Reaves won’t reach his Yahoo ADP of 90, but he will still be effective.

Anthony Davis recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 27 points (10-of-26 FGs), 15 rebounds, one assist and two blocks against Phoenix.

AD’s dominant season continued on Tuesday, and there haven’t been many teams that have been able to slow him down this season. Over his last four games, he is averaging 28.3 points, 15 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. The knock on AD in fantasy has always been his inability to stay healthy, but he has only missed one game this season. He will continue to be listed on every injury report, but unless he suffers a new injury, he should continue to remain in the lineup. Davis has been a top five player in 9-cat leagues this season, and there is no reason to think that he will slow down anytime soon.

LeBron James led the Lakers with 31 points (12-of-25 FGs), eight rebounds, 11 assists, five steals and two triples in a 106-103 win over the Suns in the In-Season Tournament on Tuesday.

Even at the age of 39, LeBron is still capable of taking over a game and carrying his team to victory. He posted a monster line and made big plays to help the Lakers advance in the In-Season Tournament. They’ll play the Pelicans this Thursday in Vegas, with a chance to play the winner of the Bucks and Pacers on the line. LeBron had one of his best games of the season and set a new season-high for steals. The legend of “Playoff LeBron” may extend to the In-Season Tournament, which will certainly benefit the managers that have him playing again on Thursday.
