What makes this all the more concerning is Oher suffered the concussion in Week 2, and still has not been cleared. The Panthers figure to address the offensive line in the wake of this news during the off-season.

Stephen Gostkowski (illness) did not practice on Friday.

With the Super Bowl over a week away, and Gostkowski being one of the best kickers in the league, there is no reason to believe he will not play on February 5th. Gostkowski finished as a top ten kicker in 2016 for fantasy, and should be targeted as such heading into 2017.

Tyrone Crawford had surgery to repair his shoulder this offseason.

This makes the second offseason in a row that he will have gone under the knife to repair a shoulder ailment as he had his right shoulder operated on last year. This year its his left shoulder being fixed after he missed the last two games of the regular season. Crawford is expected to be ready for training camp but there is some questions as to whether he has his starting role intact or if David Irving or a newcomer will take that role from the 2012 draft pick.

M. Mitchell - WR

Malcolm Mitchell (knee) was limited on Wednesday.

Mitchell ended up missing two games late in the season due to a knee injury and it appears as though he is taking things easy in practice today as he participated in a limited basis. With another week and a half to go until the Super Bowl, it makes sense that Mitchell would use the additional time to rest up and heal in an effort to be one-hundred percent for the Super Bowl. The rookie wideout from Georgia came on strong in the second half of the season, catching four touchdowns in a three-game span.

M. Bennett - TE

Martellus Bennett (ankle) was limited on Wednesday.

Bennett has been dealing with a lingering ankle injury for much of this season and it appears as though he was limited in practice today due to the injury. Bennett has shown immense toughness this year and has played through the injury, albeit to varying degrees of success, and he will certainly be available for the Patriots against the Falcons. The 29-year-old caught five passes for 32 yards against the Steelers, and with an additional week to help him nurse his ankle injury, he could be in for a big day against the Falcons.

As expected Julio Jones (toe) did not practice on Wednesday.

It's been widely reported that Julio Jones would not practice at all this week, so it's not surprising that Jones was sidelined today with his toe injury. The standout receiver is in no way in jeopardy of missing out on the Super Bowl but the Falcons are having him rest this week in hopes that he will be fully healthy against New England. The Patriots will surely be thinking of ways to scheme and take Jones out of the game, and with Malcolm Butler likely covering him, this will be a must-see matchup next Sunday.

C. Hogan - WR

Chris Hogan (thigh) was limited on Wednesday.

Hogan has been dealing with a thigh injury for the last few weeks, and it looked like the injury was bothering him during last Sunday's game, but he practiced on a limited basis today. There's no way that Hogan will miss out on the Super Bowl for a minor thigh issue, so it looks as though the Patriots are trying to let him rest up a bit and heal before they head down to Houston. The former Buffalo Bill stole the show against the Steelers, catching nine passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns.

Josh Doctson (Achilles) still has yet to be cleared to run without restrictions.

The first round draft pick for the Redskins is still yet to be cleared for any running activity. A season which only lasted two games for Doctson before his Achilles injury will look to be ready for training camp for the 2017 season.

After appearing in just nine games this season, Lawrence will look to get back to 100-percent for the 2017 campaign by electing to get back surgery. Lawrence was great in his sophomore season accumulating eight sacks, but wasn't nearly healthy enough this season to replicate that.

Broncos coach Sean Payton said the team is starting to develop how to use second-year TE Greg Dulcich.

"The trick is trying to predict what you're going to get defensively â?? if you're going to get a nickel or base package. But he can run. He's got good ball skills. So you build on that. I think his menu is going to be lengthy in the passing game and there's enough stuff we can do in the run game." Payton plans to use Dulcich in a joker role, lining him up at multiple spots to create mismatches. The Broncos added to the tight end room this offseason, trading for ex-Saints TE Adam Trautman, but Dulcich is the favorite to lead the group in targets. Dulcich was Denver's No. 1 tight end when healthy in 2022, averaging 41 yards per game with 55 targets in six starts.

Cowboys CB Jourdan Lewis (Lisfranc) has been cleared to resume running.

Lewis had Lisfranc surgery after Week 7 and spent the final 11 games on IR. The Cowboys' slot corner will be limited at OTAs but getting cleared to run gives him a chance to return this preseason and avoid the PUP list. Lewis, 27, is on the roster bubble on a secondary that added Colts CB Stephon Gilmore and fifth-round CB Eric Scott. Dallas can save $4.7 million in cap space if they release Lewis.

Bills re-signed DL Ed Oliver to a four-year, $68 million contract extension.

The deal comes with $45 million guaranteed and will tie the former No. 9 overall pick to the team for the next five seasons. Oliver, better known for his abilities in pass rush, gives the Bills a known entity in the interior defensive line amidst a multitude of turnover including head coach Sean McDermott taking over defensive play calling duties and the departure of longtime linebacker Tremaine Edmunds. The Bills should once again be more formidable against the pass when compared to their performance against the run in 2023.

Titans.com's Jim Wyatt reports second-year WR Treylon Burks has been QB Ryan Tannehill's "favorite target" at OTAs.

"It seems like Tannehill connects with Burks at the start of every period, and I haven't seen Burks drop a ball intended for him yet in the open OTAs," Wyatt wrote. Burks was a full participant at Titans' OTAs after conditioning cost him practices as a rookie. The second-year receiver was a draft winner with the Titans adding only seven-round WR Colton Dowell. Burks projects as the target leader in Tennessee as the No. 1 option in place of Robert Woods.

The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reports Vikings RB Dalvin Cook is â??a real possibilityâ? for the Dolphins if heâ??s released.

The Dolphins trading for Cook also hasn't been ruled out. Cook is currently training in South Florida and open to a fresh start. With Cook coming off shoulder surgery and entering his age-28 season, it's likely he'd need to restructure to facilitate a trade to Miami. The Vikings may look to make a decision on what to do with Cook ahead of mandatory OTAs later this month.

Falcons coach Arthur Smith expects TE Kyle Pitts (knee) to be ready for the start of the season.

Pitts hasn't practiced while recovering from November MCL surgery. Atlanta plans to play it safe with Pitts, likely holding him out of team drills until training camp. Pitts, who also had a hamstring injury in addition to knee surgery, should be fully healthy in time for Week 1.

Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth (knee) has been practicing at OTAs.

Freiermuth sprained his MCL in Pittsburgh's regular-season finale but the injury hasn't cost him time this offseason, with the 24-year-old participating at voluntary OTAs. The Steelers drafted third-round TE Darnell Washington in April, adding competition for Freiermuth and making it unlikely Freiermuth tops his 68% snap rate from last year. Freiermuth posted a 63/732/2 line under first-year starter Kenny Pickett in 2022.

Cooper missed the early part of OTAs recovering from February surgery. The Browns have limited Cooper to on-field drills and could move him slowly at mandatory OTAs later this month. Coach Kevin Stefanski expects Cooper to be 100 percent for the start of the preseason.
