Dodgers’ president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman told reporters on Tuesday that Clayton Kershaw’s shoulder surgery won’t deter the team from attempting to re-sign the 35-year-old southpaw.
Kershaw announced on Friday that he underwent a procedure to repair the gleno-humeral ligaments and his left shoulder capsule. He also noted that he’s hopeful to return to the mound at some point during the summer, so he’ll obviously miss at least the first few months of the season.
