Coming into Tuesday’s WNBA DFS slate, I didn’t expect the most important team on the slate would be the New York Liberty, but that’s what happens when a team only has eight healthy players. It also doesn’t hurt that their opponent, the Lynx, is allowing the third-most points in the league. Sabrina Ionescu rightfully gets all of the Liberty’s headlines, and for good reason, but Crystal Dangerfield may be the most interesting player on the court. Will she start right away for her new team, the way her old team started Moriah Jefferson immediately after she signed a hardship contract? If she doesn’t start, will Asia Durr get her first start since her rookie season?

While it seems like the Liberty have most of the injuries on the slate, there are several other situations to keep an eye on. Will NaLyssa Smith return from her ankle injury? Who will start for Jasmine Thomas? How will Washington split its frontcourt minutes? The answers to these questions could all be pivotal for Tuesday’s slate. Let's take a look at our top WNBA DFS picks for today's slate of games.

WNBA DFS Guard Plays

Guards

Natisha HiedemanCONDAL690020.45520020.84
Hiedeman has played at least 22 minutes and scored at least 22 fantasy points in three consecutive games. With Jasmine Thomas out, Hiedeman has an excellent chance to keep the streak alive. That being said, I'll like her a lot more for fantasy if she starts.
Asia DurrNYMIN31003.4431004.05
She is a must-play if she starts, but with New York down to just eight available players, she should play 15+ minutes even if she comes off the bench.
Natasha CloudWASATL940031710030.60
Cloud shot just 1-8 Sunday but still finished with 23.75 fantasy points in 33 minutes. She had 28.75 fantasy points in 34 minutes against Atlanta last week and I think that is about her floor in the rematch. Atlanta is ninth in fantasy points allowed to guards.
Crystal DangerfieldNYMIN500013.42390013.20
I probably trust Dangerfield more than I trust Asia Durr at this point in their careers, but Dangerfield is more expensive and she only joined the team a couple of days ago. She should get minutes, but she is risky if she comes off the bench.
Rhyne HowardATLWAS1000035.67750035.70
In a slate that basically forces you to choose between safety and upside amongst the top guards, Howard comes the closest to offering both.
Sabrina IonescuNYMIN1050032.5800031.54
This is a high price to pay for someone who has failed to top 18 fantasy points twice through five games. That being said, she should play 30+ minutes with Betnijah Laney out and Minnesota continues to hemorrhage fantasy points against guards.
Kahleah CopperCHIIND780018.5570017.30
We may not get the same Kahleah Copper who was WNBA Finals MVP but if we get the player who has averaged at least 23 fppg each of the last two seasons, that is a nice value on DraftKings.
Courtney WilliamsCONDAL880012.75540011.30
Williams appears to finally be finding her footing after a slow start. She shot 2-10 combined in her first two games and 7-12 Sunday. She could have the ball in her hands a lot more with Jasmine Thomas out, and she is awfully cheap on FanDuel.

WNBA DFS Forward Plays

Satou SaballyDALCON690015.75550014.00
Sabally is the cheapest forward I trust on DK. She has averaged a fantasy point per minute in her career and she shouldin a row play at least 20 minutes Tuesday. She could be a very nice value if she starts.
Emily EngstlerINDCHI740018.34480018.59
Engstler's efficiency has taken a bit of a hit in an expanded role, but she is still 15th in fantasy points per minute among players with at least 25 minutes played. Engstler is averaging 21.4 fppg in three games with NaLyssa Smith out. She looks like a good cash play, even if her ceiling isn't super high.
Elena Delle DonneWASATL1070034.45820034.22
I was concerned Delle Donne may see her minutes cut now that Washington's entire frontcourt is healthy, but she still topped 29 minutes and 34 fantasy points for the fourth time in five games Sunday. She looks like one of the safest players on the entire slate and she is pretty easy to afford.
Sylvia FowlesMINNY1090038.32830038.97
At some point, the 36-year-old cannot keep playing 32+ minutes and scoring 33+ fantasy points every time out. She is at five in a row right now, and she has always played well against Stefanie Dolson.
Stefanie DolsonNYMIN540015.15490014.96
Speaking of Dolson, she has played at least 23 minutes in four of her five games, with at least 22 fantasy points in two of those four. She will almost certainly play heavy minutes for a depleted
