NBA Point Guard Injury News

Scoot Henderson, PG, Portland Trail Blazers (Ankle)

Scoot Henderson has an ankle injury that will require him to miss a couple of more weeks. Skylar Mays has been playing more with Malcolm Brogdon also hurt. 

De'Aaron Fox, PG, Sacramento Kings (Ankle)

De'Aaron Fox remains Doubtful Monday night due to an ankle injury. Without him, Davion Mitchell continues to get the starting nod. 

Jamal Murray, PG, Denver Nuggets (Hamstring)

Jamal Murray injured his hamstring over a week ago and has been ruled out for the rest of November. Reggie Jackson is likely to get the start in Murray's place. 

Ben Simmons, PG, Brooklyn Nets (Hip)

Ben Simmons missed Sunday's game with a hip contusion and is considered day-to-day. Spencer Dinwiddie has been filling in during the Nets' injuries.

Kyle Lowry, PG, Miami Heat (Rest)

Kyle Lowry sat out on Sunday night against the Spurs due to regularly scheduled rest. He should be fine to play in the Heat's next game. 

Markelle Fultz, PG, Orlando Magic (Knee)

Markelle Fultz was a late scratch this weekend and then did not play on Sunday night with a nagging knee injury. Rookie Anthony Black started in his place over the weekend. 

Damian Lillard, PG, Milwaukee Bucks, (Injury Management)

Damian Lillard is Probable to play on Monday against the Bulls as he recovers from a calf injury. 

Malcolm Brogdon, PG, Portland Trail Blazers (Hamstring)

Malcolm Brogdon did not play on Sunday due to a hamstring injury and may miss more time this week. Skylar Mays has been filling in for Brogdon and Scoot Henderson

Tre Jones, PG, San Antonio Spurs (Hamstring)

Tre Jones was ruled out for Sunday's game against Miami and Malaki Branham served as the primary backup to Jeremy Sochan

NBA Shooting Guard Injury News

Devin Booker, SG, Phoenix Suns (Calf)

Devin Booker continues to miss time with a calf strain and is now considered day-to-day with the injury, Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon have been getting a lot of minutes with Booker missing time to start the season. 

Tyler Herro, SG, Miami Heat (Ankle)

Tyler Herro suffered a Grade 2 ankle sprain a week and a half ago in a win over the Grizzlies and will be re-evaluated in a few weeks, 

Alex Caruso, SG, Chicago Bulls (Toe)

Alex Caruso did not play on Sunday night due to a toe injury and is day-to-day for Week 4. 

Kelly Oubre Jr., SG, Philadelphia 76ers (Rib)

It was reported that Kelly Oubre Jr. was hit by a car in Philadelphia and suffered significant injuries, including fractured ribs. He will miss several weeks, and Nicolas Batum filled in for Oubre's role this weekend. 

CJ McCollum, SG, New Orleans Pelicans (Lung)

CJ McCollum suffered a scary injury that was diagnosed as a small collapsed lung last weekend. This injury will keep him out indefinitely and is similar to a collapsed lung he suffered in 2021 that kept him out for more than three weeks. Jose Alvarado likely step into a larger role on the Pelicans. 

Eric Gordon, SG, Phoenix Suns (Shoulder)

Eric Gordon missed Sunday's game with a shoulder injury. It coincided with Bradley Beal's return to the lineup, so Grayson Allen filled in for Gordon with Devin Booker still out. 

Anfernee Simons, PG, Portland Trail Blazers (Thumb)

Simons underwent successful right thumb surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament and is expected to return to play in approximately four-to-six weeks.

 

NBA Small Forward Injury News

LeBron James, SF, Los Angeles Lakers (Calf)

LeBron James did not play on Sunday night with a minor calf injury, Taurean Prince filled in with Cam Reddish also playing major minutes. 

Isaac Okoro, SF, Cleveland Cavaliers (Knee)

Issac Okoro is listed as Out for Monday's game against Sacramento. It opens up more minutes for Caris LeVert in a backup role. 

Caleb Martin, SF, Miami Heat (Knee)

Caleb Martin is Out for Monday's game against the Spurs, and Josh Richardson should see a few more minutes along with Duncan Robinson

Herbert Jones, SF, New Orleans Pelicans (Leg)

Herbert Jones did not play in Sunday's game against Dallas and is considered day-to-day as this new week begins. 

NBA Power Forward Injury News

Maxi Kleber, PF, Dallas Mavericks (Toe)

Maxi Kleber has missed multiple games with a toe injury, which has opened up room for Derrick Jones Jr. to start in his place. It was recently announced that he will now miss two weeks of games. 

Jae Crowder, PF, Milwaukee Bucks (Groin)

Jae Crowder has been ruled out of Monday's game with a groin injury. MarJon Beauchamp gets a few more minutes as a result. 

Jarred Vanderbilt, PF, Los Angeles Lakers (Heel)

Jarred Vanderbilt did not play on Sunday night with his foot injury. With Vanderbilt and LeBron James missing time, the Lakers have turned to Taurean Prince for minutes. 

Isaiah Livers, PF, Detroit Pistons (Ankle)

Isaiah Livers is making progress in his recovery from an ankle injury and will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks.

NBA Center Injury News

Nic Claxton, C, Brooklyn Nets (Ankle)

Nic Claxton has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain and the team fears it might be a 6-8 week recovery period. Since Claxton has been out, Spencer Dinwiddie stepped into the starting lineup with Ben Simmons nominally starting in the center position. 

Wendell Carter Jr., C, Orlando Magic (Hand)

Wendell Carter fractured a finger at the end of Week 2 and underwent surgery to repair the injury. The Magic will re-evaluate Carter in three weeks to see how the healing has progressed. Goga Bitadze and Moritz Wagner will split the center minutes. 

Jalen Duren, C, Detroit Pistons (Ankle)

Jalen Duren did not play Sunday against Chicago and is considered day-to-day to begin the week. 

Mason Plumlee, C Los Angeles Clippers (Knee)

Mason Plumlee will be re-evaluated in four weeks as he recovers from a serious MCL sprain in his knee.

Robert Williams, C, Portland Trail Blazers (Knee)

Robert Williams will undergo season-ending knee surgery. Deandre Ayton should soak up more minutes at the center position. 

Walker Kessler, C Utah Jazz (Elbow)

Walker Kessler will be out for at least two weeks due to a UCL sprain in his left elbow. Kelly Olynyk should fill in as the starting center and get a large load of minutes in that time. 

Xavier Tillman, C, Memphis Grizzlies (Knee)

Xavier Tillman experienced knee soreness and did not play in the Grizzlies' game on Sunday night. Bismack Biyombo has been starting in his place and getting more than 20 minutes per game.
