We have seen important injury news break over the weekend that will affect some big name players, especially on teams like the Phoenix Suns. Here are the latest NBA injuries for week 2 of the fantasy basketball season.

Point Guard Injury News

Darius Garland, PG, Cleveland Cavaliers (Hamstring)

UPDATE: Garland has been ruled out for Tuesday's game. Darius Garland missed Saturday's game with a nagging hamstring injury and is considered day-to-day as Week 2 begins. Caris LeVert and Max Strus saw an increase in minutes and would take over PG duties if Garland misses Tuesday's game.

Tyrese Maxey, PG, Philadelphia 76ers (Hand)

Tyrese Maxey suffered a hand injury in Sunday's game against Portland and will be reevaluated ahead of Philadelphia's next game on Thursday, November 2.

Monte Morris, PG, Detroit Pistons (Back)

Monte Morris didn't play in the Wizards' opening week due to a back injury. Killian Hayes should be the primary backup for Cade Cunningham until Morris is reevaluated in mid-November. 

Jose Alvarado, PG, New Orleans Pelicans (Ankle)

Jose Alvarado remains out with an ankle injury and will be re-evaluated after the first week of November. Kira Lewis Jr. will serve as C.J. McCollum's backup. 

De'Aaron Fox, PG, Sacramento Kings (Ankle)

De'Aaron Fox is going to miss “some time” according to reports after suffering a moderate ankle sprain. Davion Mitchell should fill in as the starting point guard for Sacramento. 

Shooting Guard Injury News

Zach LaVine, SG, Chicago Bulls (Back)

Zach LaVine is probable for Chicago's game on Monday night after missing time with a back injury. 

Donovan Mitchell, SG, Cleveland Cavaliers (Hamstring)

Donovan Mitchell missed Cleveland's last game and is listed as Questionable ahead of the Cavaliers next game on Tuesday. Caris Levert filled in for Garland on Saturday night. 

Josh Richardson, SG, Miami Heat (Foot)

Josh Richardson is listed as a game-time-decision for Monday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Should Richardson not be able to play, Duncan Robinson would see more time as the primary backup to Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler

James Harden, SG, Philadelphia 76ers (Conditioning)

Harden joined the 76ers for their home walkthrough and film session ahead of their Sunday night game, and it is expected that he will make his debut sometime in the next week. The team is waiting for his conditioning to return to competition level.

Devin Booker, SG, Phoenix Suns (Foot)

UPDATE: Booker has been ruled out for Tuesday's game. Booker missed the Suns' last two games with a foot injury and remains day-to-day before the Suns play again on Tuesday. Grayson played for Booker on Saturday night and logged 31 minutes and 17 points. 

Bradley Beal, SG, Phoenix Suns (Back)

UPDATE: Beal  has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.Bradley Beal has yet to play this season due to a back injury and does not yet have an injury designation ahead of the Tuesday night game against San Antonio. Eric Gordon has been starting in place of Beal this season. 

Damion Lee, SG, Phoenix Suns (Knee)

Lee underwent a knee procedure to clean up his right meniscus and has no timetable for return. Jordan Goodwin and Grayson Allen will serve as the primary guard backups for Phoenix behind Bradley Beal and Devin Booker

Anfernee Simons, SG, Portland Trail Blazers (Thumb)

Simons suffered a torn UCL in his right thumb during the opening week and will be out for up to six weeks. Shaedon Sharpe started in place of Simons and is the primary beneficiary. 

Landry Shamet, SG, Washington Wizards (Toe) 

Landry Shamet suffered a broken big toe in mid-October and is expected to miss up to two to four weeks, according to reports. He is listed as Out for Monday's game against Boston. 

Wesley Matthews, SG, Atlanta Hawks (Calf)

Matthews underwent an MRI on October 24th that revealed a mild right calf strain, and he'll be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Terance Mann, SG, Los Angeles Clippers (Ankle)

Mann did not play in Sunday's game against San Antonio due to an ankle injury. He is considered day-to-day in advance of the Clippers' game on Tuesday night. Norman Powell and Robert Covington would be the primary beneficiaries if Mann were to miss more time. 

Small Forward Injury News

Cameron Johnson, SF, Brooklyn Nets (Calf)

UPDATE: Johnson will now miss up to 10 days with his calf strain. Cameron Johnson is dealing with a calf injury and has already been ruled out of Monday's game against Charlotte. On Friday Spencer Dinwiddie got the start, playing 40 minutes and scoring 23 points. 

Bojan Bogdanovic, SF, Detroit Pistons (Calf)

Bojan Bogdanovic has a serious calf injury and will not be reevaluated for another three to four weeks. He remains out. In his absence, both Alec Burks and electric rookie Ausar Thompson should see a sharp increase in playing time to start the season. 

Tari Eason, SF, Houston Rockets (Leg)

Tari Eason suffered a stress reaction in his left leg over the weekend and will be shut down for 2-3 weeks before he is reevaluated. His absence should mean more minutes for reserves Jae'Sean Tate and Cam Whitmore

Khris Middleton, SF, Milwaukee Bucks (Knee)

UPDATE: Middleton is not listed on the injury report Monday and will play barring any setback. Khris Middleton did not play Sunday on the first leg of a back-to-back to manage the injury on his right knee, but he is expected to play on Monday. He might not play in both games of back-to-backs for some time. 

Naji Marshall, SF, New Orleans Pelicans (Knee)

Marshall is dealing with a bone bruise in his knee and will not take the court for 2-3 weeks when he will be reevaluated. As the primary backup to Zion Williamson, look for Larry Nance to chew up a few more minutes as he backs up both Zion and Jonas Valanciunas

OG Anunoby, SF, Toronto Raptors (Leg)

OG Anunoby is Questionable for Monday's game against Portland due to a leg injury. If he misses, Gary Trent Jr. should step up into his place in the starting lineup. 

Kenrich Williams, SF, Oklahoma City Thunder (Back)

Kenrich Williams did not play Sunday due to an ongoing back injury. He should be considered day-to-day moving forward. 

Power Forward Injury News

Isaiah Livers, PF, Detroit Pistons (Ankle)

Liver suffered a very serious ankle sprain on October 2 and is expected to miss six to eight weeks with the Grade III sprain. With the backup power forward spot open for several weeks, Marvin Bagley is moving into that role with James Wiseman taking the backup center role during that time. 

Santi Aldama, PF, Memphis Grizzlies, (Ankle)

Santi Aldama will not play on Monday night due to an ankle injury and his status for the rest of the week is currently up in the air. 

Jarred Vanderbilt, PF, Los Angeles Lakers (Heel)

Jarred Vanderbilt will be re-examined in just under two weeks as he recovers from a heel injury. With Vanderbilt out with injury the Lakers have filled in with Taurean Price, Rui Hachimura and Christian Wood will fill in the front court reserve spots. 

Jaden McDaniels, PF, Minnesota Timberwolves (Calf)

The calf injury suffered by McDaniels on October 14th has not fully healed and he is questionable for Monday's game against Atlanta. 

Trey Lyles, PF, Sacramento Kings (Calf)

Lyles suffered a minor calf strain in the preseason that will keep him out of work on Sunday.  Sasha Vezenkov and Alex Len are expected to see the bulk of the frontcourt reserve minutes while Lyles is out. 

Precious Achiuwa, PF, Toronto Raptors (Groin)

Precious Achiuwa is Doubtful for Monday's game against Portland due to a groin injury. Chris Boucher could get extra minutes if Achiuwa can not go. 

Jaylin Williams, PF, Oklahoma City Thunder (Hamstring)

Jaylin Williams has been shut down with a hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in a couple of weeks. Aleksej Pokusevski might get a few more minutes until Williams returns. 

Center Injury News

Nic Claxton, C, Brooklyn Nets (Ankle)

UPDATE: Claxton has been ruled out for at least the Nets' next two games.Nic Claxton will not play on Monday against Charlotte, which opens up more playing time for Dorian Finney-Smith and Day'Ron Sharpe until he returns. 

Jarrett Allen, C, Cleveland Cavaliers (Ankle)

UPDATE: Allen has been ruled out for Tuesday's game. Jarrett Allen did not suit up for Cleveland's game on Saturday. Allen is day-to-day with his ankle injury until an official injury report is released. Evan Mobley will continue to dominate the frontcourt in his absence.  

James Wiseman, C, Detroit Pistons (Finger)

James Wiseman is Probably to play on Monday night, likely in a reserve role for the Detroit Pistons

Daniel Gafford, C, Washington Wizards (Ankle)

UPDATE: Gafford has been ruled out for Monday's game. Daniel Gafford is Questionable for Monday's game against the Boston Celtics as he deals with an ankle sprain. If he misses this game, Mike Muscala and Danilo Gallinari will fill in for the frontcourt minutes.  

Jock Landale, C, Houston Rockets (Concussion)

Jock Landale missed Saturday's game with a concussion and is day-to-day heading into the Houston Rockets' next game against Charlotte on Wednesday.
