White Sox reassigned OF Victor Reyes, INF Moises Castillo, C Adam Hackenberg and RHPs Declan Cronin, Lane Ramsey and Jesse Scholtens to minor league camp.

Reyes has a decent amount of big league experience from his time with the Tigers, but he was always facing an uphill battle at a spot on the Opening Day roster. The 28-year-old hit .269 (7-for-26) with one RBI during Cactus League play.

Gabriel Moreno (hand) told reporters on Monday that he's doing fine and that he doesn't believe that his injury will be a long-term concern.

Moreno was drilled by a pitch on Saturday, but the Diamondbacks still haven't ordered any X-rays to see what's going on, so it doesn't sound like there's anything to worry about here. It's a different story for Carson Kelly, who was hit by a pitch on Monday and the team actually has some level of concern that he may have suffered a serious injury. If that's the case, Moreno would then be relied upon to carry an even heavier load behind the plate to start the season.

The Diamondbacks are still awaiting the results on the imaging done on Carson Kelly's injured forearm.

Kelly was drilled by a pitch during Monday's Cactus League contest. The veteran backstop told reporters after the game that he has been hit in that area before and that his level of concern is "not minimal". For now, all fantasy managers can do is wait and hope for the best.

Orioles optioned LHP Bruce Zimmermann to Triple-A Norfolk.

Zimmermann, 27, opened the spring on the outside looking in at a spot in the team's Opening Day starting rotation. He pitched relatively well in Grapefruit League play -- posting a 3.75 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and an 8/3 K/BB ratio over 12 innings of work. He'll start the year in the rotation at Triple-A Norfolk and should get plenty of chances to toe the slab for the Orioles during the 2023 campaign as well.

Orioles optioned LHP Nick Vespi to Triple-A Norfolk.

The 27-year-old southpaw has battled all the way back after undergoing hernia surgery early in the off-season. He only appeared in three Grapefruit Legue contests though -- posting a 9.00 ERA and 2.00 WHIP over his three innings. The O's want him to get a bit more game action in before potentially joining the big league bullpen.

Jarred Kelenic was pulled from Sunday's Cactus League game against the Brewers due to some minor tightness in his quad.

Mariners skipper Scott Servais told reporters after the game that the 23-year-old's exit was purely precautionary and that Kelenic is considered day-to-day. Kelenic has been earning back the faith of many fantasy managers with his performance in the Cactus League this spring, hitting .410 (16-for-39) with four homers, nine RBI and three stolen bases. He has seen his average draft position rise substantially over the past two weeks, as he now sits just inside the top-200 picks overall.

Tom Murphy was scratched from the Mariners' Cactus League lineup on Monday due to left forearm tightness.

It doesn't seem like anything that should keep the 31-year-old backstop out of action for long, but pay attention to his status for the rest of the week. He could be fighting for a spot on the club's Opening Day roster with the way that Cooper Hummel has hit the ball in Cactus League play.

Braves reassigned INF Yolmer Sanchez, LHP Danny Young and Cs Ryan Casteel and Joe Hudson to minor league camp.

In total, the Braves sent out nine players from big league camp on Monday, with five others getting optioned to Triple-A. Sanchez, 30, really struggled in Grapefruit League action -- hitting just .069 (2-for-29) with zero RBI and one swipe. He'll function as infield depth at the Triple-A level.
