PrizePicks NBA Player Props Top Picks
Donovan Mitchell, Cleveland Cavaliers
Pick: Over 26.5 Points
We come out of the All-Star break with a featured matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Cleveland Cavaliers. Denver is currently the top team in the West while the Cavaliers are jockeying for position in the top half of the Eastern Conference standings. Heading into the break Mitchell was on fire, scoring at least 29 points in four straight games.
This season the Nuggets have not been a great defensive team, allowing opponents to shoot 48%. This matchup today has Cleveland as a two-point home favorite with a 222.5 game total.
When looking at the sportsbooks today they have Mitchell's over 26.5 point total sitting at -125 odds.
Let's run with the Cavs guard here out of the break!

Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
Pick: Over 8.5 Free Throws Made
Embiid is averaging 10.0 free throws made per game for the month of February. In January he averaged 9.8 free throws made per game and in December he averaged 12.5 free throws made per game. So, to get his number tonight at 8.5 feels like something we should look to take advantage of. The 76ers are at home and take on the Memphis Grizzlies here tonight. Memphis is still without Steven Adams, their top defensive center which means Embiid will be running up against the likes of Xavier Tillman, Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson Jr. This is a trio that are no stranger to foul trouble and I'd expect the 76ers to feed Embiid early and often in this game because of the extreme size mismatch he will have as Xavier Tillman is listed at 6-foot-7 and Brandon Clarke is 6-foot-8.
Malaki Branham, San Antonio Spurs
Pick: Over 13.5 Points
The books just give Branham no respect here as his point projections just haven't been changing despite his performances when in the starting lineup. In six games this season without Tre Jones active we've seen Branham go over this total in five of those contests, averaging 18.8 points per game. Defensively the Mavericks are not a great team, allowing opponents to shoot 48.4% from the floor on the year. Over on the sportsbooks we see the line set at -125 for Branham to go over this total here and while the Spurs are 14-point underdogs here tonight, we do have a 239 game total and Branham should not see his minutes limited in a blowout scenario here. Let's continue to ride with the Spurs rookie.
