Safe to assume everyone is nice and relaxed, well-fed and ready to get back on the horse for some NFL Week 12 DFS? I hope so, because we haven't taken time off at all and are primed for another big week. Last week, we focused on lineup construction and while we didn't see anyone cashing out a million bucks from their account, I did see plenty of screenshots and messages from the Fantasy Alarm #FAmily bragging about their GPP wins. I fully expect us to carry that momentum into Sunday this week and I am very much looking forward to all the stories of how your Christmas holiday shopping was able to kick into high gear. One thing I would like to mention before we dive into the main slate's NFL DFS Playbook, is to continue your play in cash games. It's real easy to forget once you start pulling in more GPP winnings, but you always want to make sure that you are covering your GPP entry costs with cash game play. Now, I did get tagged on DraftKings last week as they cancelled a few of my cash games because the contests didn't fill, so when you are setting up your plays for the week, be sure you are entering contests that look like they re close to filling so you don't lose out. Hitting your cash games keeps you from a losing week should your GPP lineups not cash, but even more so, they can turn your good week into a great week.

With another successful week last week and a strong Thanksgiving Day showing, comes a number of new subscribers, so before we dive right into the plays, for those who may be new to the Fantasy Alarm #FAmily, here is a rundown of the NFL DFS content you should be studying while creating your winning DFS lineups. Let's start with our NFL tools. We continue to crunch the numbers and tweak our algorithms so that our daily fantasy football projections are the best in the industry and that, in turn, has improved things like our Lineup Generator/DFS Optimizer, our DFS Compare tool and even our NFL DFS Ownership Projections. Again, all right here on one site for your convenience.

Again, if you are new to the #FAmily, welcome! All the aforementioned tools are, obviously, at your disposal as well, but please allow me to point you towards more of the content and tools we provide to help you crush your DFS contests each week. It also makes for a nice introduction to our DFS team.

QB Coach – Jon Impemba (@jimpemba777)

RB Coach -- Justin Vreeland (@JustinVreeland)

WR Coach -- Colby Conway (@colbyrconway)

TE Coach -- Andrew Cooper (@CoopAFiasco)

D/ST Coach -- Dan Malin (@RealDANlanta)

In addition to the positional coaching pieces, you also have things like the DFS Watch List, where I provide you with a list of players I am looking at throughout the week. We have the NFL DFS Show with me & Jon Impemba, which you can click below and watch as we talk through each position, our favorite plays and even build a lineup on DraftKings. Impemba also does the Value Plays & Contrarian Corner videos so be sure to check that out as well. Also, don't miss out on the complete NFL Weekly Match-Up Report from Britt Flinn (@britt_flinn) and the all-important WR/CB Match-Up Report from JB Barry (@FantasyCoachJB).

If you haven't started bookmarking everything, do yourself a favor and do it now. Yes, that's a lot of content and sure, it can be overwhelming, but these pieces come out throughout the week, so if you're seeing all of this for the first time, just know that it all starts trickling out on Tuesday so you can attack the info steadily rather than get slammed all at once. I would suggest that you go through the NFL DFS Menu and start bookmarking a lot of these pieces for ease of use in the future.

Once you've got all of that under your belt, it's time to look at the Playbook. It usually arrives in the early afternoon on Saturdays which gives you ample time to read through everything, make your notes and begin working on your lineups. On Sunday morning, we will provide you with Example Lineups for both cash games and GPP tournaments on DraftKings and FanDuel, so you have something to compare your own to before finalizing.

Pretty sure that sums up the basics, and as you should know, if you have any questions, we are all available via the Fantasy Alarm Discord Chat, social media and even email, so please do not ever hesitate to ask for help. That's what we are here for.

If you are ready, let's now dive into the Week 12 NFL DFS Playbook!
