ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Treylon Burks (concussion) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Colts.

Burks suffered the concussion in Week 9 and has been out ever since. He returned to practice this week and was upgraded to a full session by Friday. He still needed a final signoff from doctors as of Friday, hence the questionable tag, but appears to have gotten it. Burks will return as a fantasy WR4, offering much more utility to a Titans offense that has desperately needed a second receiving option than he does for fantasy rosters.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Dak Prescott is expected to negotiate a contract extension in the offseason.

The negotiations have not yet begun, but it’s safe to assume the two sides will reach an agreement in the offseason. Prescott has 26 touchdowns and six interceptions this year. He is firmly in the MVP hunt and the Cowboys are sitting at 9-3. Per Rapoport, Prescott has a $60 million cap hit in 2024 and will be a free agent in the following offseason. An extension would keep Prescott in Dallas for years to come while also reducing his cap hit in 2024. A new deal for Prescott is simply a matter of when, not if.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Breece Hall (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Falcons.

Hall was listed as questionable after a full practice on Friday, so this isn’t exactly breaking news. Dalvin Cook is dealing with a shoulder issue but is also expected to play. Hall has been getting by on receptions in PPR leagues, averaging five catches per game over his past five appearances. With the Jets unlikely to mount many scoring drives under Tim Boyle, Hall needs all the catches he can get to approach RB1 numbers. He sits on the RB1/2 border for his Week 13 matchup with the Falcons.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) “is not expected to be cleared” if the Jets are out of playoff contention.

Per Rapport, Rodgers is “unlikely” to return this year. The latest chapter in the Rodgers saga is that he won’t return from his Achilles injury in four months for a few meaningless games. Who could have seen this coming? With the Jets sitting at 4-7 and staring down the barrel of another Tim Boyle start, there’s essentially no chance we see Rodgers on the field again this season. Rapoport noted that Rodgers could be activated from injured reserve to serve as the Jets’ emergency quarterback. Either way, don’t expect to see the four-time MVP taking live reps until 2024.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Jonathan Taylor (thumb) is expected to miss 3-5 weeks.

Per Rapoport, Taylor underwent surgery to repair a torn UCL in his thumb. He will use an internal brace to help with the recovery. The Colts didn’t put Taylor on injured reserve meaning they think there’s at least a chance he will miss fewer than four games. Until he returns, Zack Moss will serve as a bell-cow running back for the Colts. Moss ranks as an RB1 heading into his Week 13 date with the Titans.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Panthers are looking for an “offensive-minded head coach” to replace Frank Reich.

The Panthers canned Reich after 11 games, only one of which resulted in a win. Reich was hired to oversee the introduction of Bryce Young into the NFL. The No. 1 overall pick has struggled mightily this year, tossing nine touchdowns to eight interceptions. Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson interviewed for Carolina’s head coaching vacancy last offseason but ultimately stayed in Detroit. Expect Panthers owner David Tepper to make an even more enticing offer this time around. Commanders OC Eric Bieniemy and Texans OC Bobby Slowik are both names to monitor for this vacancy as well.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Noah Brown (knee) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Broncos.

Brown was listed as questionable after sitting out of Friday’s practice. He was considered a true coin-flip to play at the time, but things appear to have gone well for him over the weekend. The Texans haven’t had a fully healthy receiving room since Week 1. Brown played over Tank Dell in that game, but with the way the rookie has been playing this year, the Texans can’t afford to use him in a part-time role versus the Broncos. Brown will likely split reps with Robert Woods this time around. Coming off of back-to-back games over 150 yards before his knee injury, Brown ranks as a WR3 for Week 13.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Keenan Allen (quad) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Patriots.

Allen practiced once this week before being listed as questionable. He told reporters he felt great on Friday and he fully expected to play, so there was never much doubt that he would be suiting up today. Allen leads the NFL in catches and is top-five in yards and touchdowns. He remains near the top of the wide receiver rankings for his Week 13 matchup with the Pats.
