NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (hamstring) “is the most likely to go” of the Cowboys’ three injured offensive linemen.

The other injured linemen are right guard Zack Martin and center Tyler Biadasz. Smith wasn’t on the team’s final injury report on Friday but was then added on Saturday with a hamstring issue. The Cowboys should be able to get by without a fully healthy line this week as they are facing the Cardinals. The bigger concern will be if any of these injuries linger into the following weeks.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Kadarius Toney (toe) is a game-time decision for Week 3 against the Bears.

Toney didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday before getting in a limited session on Friday. Given his extensive injury history, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Chiefs hold him out for a week. If he can’t go, Rashee Rice could get some extra run as the team’s third receiver, though it would be hard to trust the rookie for fantasy purposes.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) “is optimistic that he’ll be able to play” in Week 3 against the Falcons.

St. Brown was held out of practice on Wednesday but returned the next day and was able to participate in full by the end of the week. Though he may not be at 100 percent, the star receiver should be able to play through his toe issue as long as it doesn’t get worse. St. Brown will look to continue his hot start to the 2023 season as a WR1 versus Atlanta.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Falcons CB Jeff Okudah (foot) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Lions.

Per Rapoport, Okudah still needs to get cleared after a pre-game workout in order to play, though that looks like after he practiced in full throughout the week. Okudah has missed the Falcons’ first two games of the year because of the foot issue but now appears ready to return in a revenge game against his former team. If he is able to handle a full allotment of snaps, Okudah should start in his debut as a Falcon.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports DK Metcalf (ribs) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Panthers.

Pete Carroll said on Friday that Metcalf was on track to start, so Schefter’s news isn’t much of a surprise. Metcalf was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday before getting in a full session to close the week. He remains at the top of the WR2 rankings in Week 3 against the Panthers.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Jamal Adams (knee) is not expected to play in Week 3 against the Panthers.

Adams suffered a torn quad just over a year ago and is still looking to make his return to football. Pete Carroll said he was “as close as you can get” to playing this week, but the star safety will ultimately be forced to wait until next Monday to make his return. The Seahawks’ secondary is decimated by injuries this week, giving Andy Dalton a fighting chance to put up QB2 numbers.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Isiah Pacheco (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 3 against the Bears.

Pacheco was held out of practice Wednesday before getting in a pair of limited sessions on the following two days. The second-year back has seen the bulk of the Chiefs’ running back touches through two weeks, but that hasn’t resulted in an overwhelming amount of raw volume. He has just 25 touches through two games. A matchup versus the floundering Bears should be his time to shine as the Chiefs are nearly two-touchdown favorites. Fantasy managers should treat him as a touchdown-dependent RB2 for Week 3.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Browns RB Nick Chubb suffered a torn MCL and was given a recovery window of six to eight months.

Based on how it looked in real time, this sounds like one of the better prognoses Chubb could have received. The Browns feared a multi-ligament injury, which would have likely extended the recovery timeframe to eight to 10 months. The pre-surgery recover window is clearly subject to change as Chubb has not gone under the knife yet, meaning we will know more once his surgery is performed. As of now, consider it great news for the electric back.
