NFL Sleeper Top Picks & Plays for Week 10 Sunday Games

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

It’s been hard to find a more consistent producer both in fantasy and real life than Amon-Ra St. Brown. In five of the seven games he’s played this season, he’s accumulated more than 100 receiving yards, and in this matchup against a soft Los Angeles Chargers pass defense, he’s set up to do it again. The Chargers are allowing 269 yards to the wide receiver position per game, so even though the stat is one of the higher marks of the week, against this defense, it seems like it could be incredibly low at the end of the day. St. Brown is averaging 11.7 yards per reception, and with what should be a back and forth game as the highest scoring of the week, there will be plenty of opportunity for him to rack up yardage.

Pick: Amon-Ra St. Brown more than 82.5 receiving yards (1.77x)

Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers

Christian McCaffrey may hold the title of running back, but he’s so much more than that, especially as a receiver and multi-purpose player. On the season, he’s averaging 36.5 receiving yards per game, and this week, he gets a matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars who are allowing the most receptions per game to the running back position, 7.5 to be exact. With an average of over nine yards per reception, McCaffrey should blow this out of the water. Over the past two games, CMC has been more involved in the passing game, finishing with 51 yards in Week 7 and 64 yards in Week 8. Yes, Deebo Samuel should be back in the lineup, but the winds are going to factor in this game, with gusts expected to be around 30 MPH, limiting Brock Purdy’s downfield passes and sending more targets in McCaffrey’s direction. Even if he only gets his yearly average of four targets this game (which I think is a bare minimum he should see), he should easily clear this mark.

Pick: Christian McCaffrey more than 31.5 receiving yards (1.76x)

Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys

I know what you may be thinking. “He hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 1, so why would I make this play?” Well, I’ll tell you. The Giants have given up the third-most rushing touchdowns this season, allowing 13 in nine games. With Dallas being 17.5 point favorites, Pollard should see a ton of work in the run game, and he couldn’t ask for a better “get right” situation. The Giants rank 28th in rush DVOA, 29th in rush yards per attempt, and 25th in rush yards per game, so everything is aligning for Pollard to finally find the end zone again. At a multiplier of 2.02, I’m squeezing this juice.

Pick: Tony Pollard more than .5 rushing touchdowns (2.02x)
